Concept
Choice & Consequence
Every choice shapes what happens next, and sometimes what happens the next time you play. Just like in real life, kindness can build friendships… and grabbing a toy might mean a friend won’t come back tomorrow.

Why I built FeelTheStory
I made FeelTheStory as a parent, not a startup idea. One morning my son refused to get dressed. Everyone tried the usual toolkit-reasoning, coaxing, “look at all the fun we’ll have!” Nothing worked.
I paused and looked from his side. I believe Toddlers aren’t irrational; they usually have solid reasons we haven’t understood yet. I realised he wasn’t resisting getting dressed. He was resisting having no choice in it. So I handed the wheel back: “Do you want to pick your clothes?” The tantrum stopped. He followed me and chose wildly mismatched pajamas.
I kept the control with him but shaped the choice. I pulled out two decent outfits, casually told my wife, “Not these-these aren’t suitable,” and set them aside. He instantly grabbed one and dressed himself. It was his decision. That made all the difference.
That’s the heart of FeelTheStory: give kids agency, name feelings, and offer safe choices with natural consequences: no carrots, no sticks. Our stories remember what happened last time and gently evolve, so children can practice the pause, try again, and feel the pride of choosing well. We skip the gimmicks: no ads, no dopamine traps. Just research-informed, psychology-backed stories that grow with your child.
If “Don’t jump!” has never worked in your house, you’re not alone. Kids don’t need more commands; they need a space to decide, and to feel what those decisions bring. That’s what FeelTheStory is for.
Thank you for being early supporters. Your feedback directly shapes what we build next.
